Sketching started with a vague idea of the brand wanting to be a simple but sophisticated idea, mixing technology with nature.
Once I settled on the name Olla for the company, I began playing around with fonts, colors, and icons to develop a logo both I and the clients would be satisfied with.
The clients selected my design as the final, and we began exploring color palettes and taglines. My original design had the tagline "Purely Water", but the clients wanted to explore "The Cleanest Water on Earth". In the end, we agreed that it would be too bold of a claim, and returned to "Purely Water" as the final tagline.
The clients wanted blue for their color palette, but I wanted to explore the possibility of using green as well, to help make the brand stand out from the other bottles on the shelf in the store. I wanted to promote a feeling of natural sustainability through the bottle design, like how plants are nature's filters.
